You May NOT Use DotWork To:
- Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using automated means
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the Service in a way that could damage our reputation or brand
User Content
Your Content
"User Content" means any data, information, projects, and contributions you submit to DotWork.
You retain all rights to your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant us:
- A worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license
- To store, process, and display your User Content
- Solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service
- This license ends when you delete your content or account
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of your User Content
- Ensuring you have the right to upload your User Content
- Any consequences arising from your User Content
We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
Content Restrictions
Your User Content must not:
- Contain illegal, offensive, or harmful content
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Contain personally identifiable information of others without consent
- Contain spam, advertising, or promotional material (unless expressly permitted)
- Contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
Content Removal

- Is reported by other users for violations

Open Source

Free Service and Paid Features
Current Service
DotWork is currently provided free of charge.
Future Changes
We reserve the right to:
- Introduce paid features or premium plans in the future
- Modify pricing for any paid features
- Provide notice of at least 30 days before implementing paid features for existing users
No Refunds
If we introduce paid features, all payments are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in a separate paid plan agreement.
Service Availability
No Guarantee of Uptime
While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- That the Service will be available at all times
- That all features will work perfectly
- That data will never be lost (please maintain backups)
Maintenance and Updates
We may:
- Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
- Update, modify, or discontinue features
- Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance
We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
Service Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
- With or without notice
- Without liability to you
Data Backup and Loss
Your Responsibility
While we implement backup procedures:
- You are responsible for maintaining copies of your important data
- We recommend regularly exporting your contribution data
- We are not liable for data loss due to technical issues, security breaches, or account deletion
Export Your Data
You may request export of your data at any time by:
- Using our data export feature (if available)

Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Deleting your account through the application settings

Upon termination:
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days
- You will lose access to all your projects and contributions
- This action is irreversible
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Your account has been inactive for an extended period
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the Service
We will provide reasonable notice before termination unless:
- You have materially breached these Terms
- Providing notice would violate the law
- Immediate termination is necessary for security reasons
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Service ends immediately
- We may delete your data according to our retention policies
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
Disclaimer of Warranties

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

- The Service will be available at all times
- Any errors will be corrected
- The Service is free from viruses or harmful components

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DotWork, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your User Content
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you.

DotWork uses third-party services:
- Supabase - Database and authentication
- Vercel - Hosting and deployment
- Vercel Analytics - Usage analytics
These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for:
- The availability or performance of third-party services
- Any loss or damage caused by third-party services
- The privacy practices of third-party services
Privacy
